Before the Dawn

This picture was inspired by the song called Before the Dawn, by Evanescence. I love that song so much!!!!! So, as I listened to the lyrics I thought of 2 people flying away and getting lost before the dawn. I thought of making them sitting on birds that are big enough to hold people. So, Yeah, then I thought about it and I didn't feel like drawing people! So I drew the birds and made a heart shape after drawing them. So then it took me forever to figure out how to draw trees from a top view! lol! I must say though, the words and the heart and the road were the easiest parts. I tried really hard to get the trees to look the way I wanted and they still don't! I was trying to make them heart shaped, but they only looked like mickey mouse no matter how many times I tried! So, I decided that I would rather have round shaped trees than heart shaped trees that look like mickey mouse! lol! I really love this picture and I got to say that it is my favorite one out of all of my drawings.
