The dagger that hangs around my neck,
The words on this page,
The hair on your head,
The pictures in that book,
The pen on that desk,
Everything has purpose,
Some more obvious than others,
The question is . . .
What is my purpose?
Why am I here?
So many confusing messages,
Did God really make us?
Or did we just evolve
like scientists say,
I may never know my purpose,
In the end,
I'll have to accept the fact . . .
That I don't have a purpose.
